More Christmas Memories.

Ashley's 2008 Ornament. It says "Powerhouse" & the Year to help her remember her year of cheer.
Jarrett's 2008 Ornament. As you can tell he loves Nascar. He loves any driver. Especially Denny Hamlin #11 FedEx, but I can't find one of his ornaments.
Of course Brooke's 2008 Ornament had to be Hannah Montana.
Here is a picture of them avoiding looking at the Christmas lights the other night. Brooke even fell asleep. Jarrett was just bored to tears and I mean tears.
Hubby & I took Jarrett to the Children's Museum Christmas Village. We went last year and had a blast so we decided to go again this year. This picture is of Jarrett playing in the fake snow. It's not a very good picture b/c he was intimidated with all the kids that were there so he stayed out of the snow b/c they were all there.

He loved to pretend canoe. Even hubby thought this one was cool.

Jarrett we'll have to go canoeing when you can swim.
Here he is blowing bubbles.

And of course his all time favorite...... The ambulance.
He likes the boats, but I don't. He always gets wet playing with these and when it's cold outside wet is not always ok.

He also loves brushing the teeth. He does a good job at brushing his own teeth at home when we remind him. He got a transformer toothbrush set so hopefully he'll always like to brush his teeth.
Here he is pretending to cook us food in the play kitchen. I'd have to say this would be his 2nd favorite exhibit. He takes our order and then he rings it up on the cash register. After that he manhandles some food of his choice (not our order) from another kid (yes I scold him and make him give it back), then he picks the food without a kid attached and brings it to us. To do the dishes he dumps plate and all in the pretend trash can. Is that the future I see?

My favorite cookie place has a decorate a cookie booth that we love. Last year we made Christmas trees and this year it was Gingerbreadmen. I had to keep him from eating all the skittles that were supposed to be for decorating the cookies. That was tough. I'd turn my head and he'd get more.
Yeah hubby was sitting right there, but I guess he thought the candy was there for eating too.

And finally Santa was there. He heard us call Jarrett by name so he started calling him his name. Jarrett was amazed. I might not get to blog in a while b/c we will be out of town. I want to wish you all an early Happy New Year.
